Rose Arbor is a townhome community located in Morris Township in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 325 units in the complex which was built between 1990 and 1995. Rose Arbor offers 2-3 bedroom townhomes with a 1-car garage. Some of the units have basements. The townhomes feature approximately 1,500 to 1,800 square foot of living space, not including basements. Construction started on Witherspoon Court from 1990-1991 with models including the Alnwick, Brightstowe, Carteret, Delbarton, and Ellerslea. These units have no basements. A relatively small number were built. Construction paused in 1992. Building resumed from 1993-1995 with all new models including the Giverny, Longwood, Mirabel, Tivoli, and Chelsea. Some of these designs feature basements, for example, the Giverny. The Chelsea and Tivoli are end units. The Chelsea comes with a basement, while the Tivoli does not. The development is a condominium or condo association. As of the year 2017, the residents employ Taylor Management. The monthly association fee was approximately $335 and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and water fees. Rose Arbor is located about 10 minutes away from Interstate 287 and Morristown, which has a train station with rail service to NYC.

Commute

Rose Arbor is located about 10 minutes away from Interstate 287 which runs north-south through Morris County and provides an easy connection to major east-west routes including Interstate 80, 280, and NJ Route 24. The Morristown Train Station is about 10 minutes away and offers direct service to Hoboken or NY Penn Station on the NJ Transit Morristown Line. Passengers who take the Hoboken train can switch to the PATH to reach NYC. Passengers who take the Midtown Direct train will arrive at NY Penn Station in about 60 minutes. Passengers can transfer at Newark Broad Street or Summit to reach the other destination if necessary.

Recreation

There are two swimming pools and tennis facilities located in Morris Township. Other recreational facilities include, The Morris Museum, Loantaka Brook Reservation, Seaton Hackney Stables, Patriots' Path, Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, The Mennen Sports Arena, Lewis Morris Park, and Morristown National Historic Park at Jockey Hollow.

Schools

The Morris School District is a regional public school district that serves the communities of Morristown and Morris Township (for grades K-12), along with students of Morris Plains for grades 9-12 only. Public schools for residents include: Alfred Vail (K-2), Alexander Hamilton (3-5), Frelinghuysen (6-8), and Morristown High (9-12).
